Mykela Nowicki (Toddler Lead Teacher)
Brickton Montessori Staff (2022-PRESENT)
Hello! My name is Mykela Nowicki. I have taught in various settings for over five years. I started learning about the Montessori approach when I found my love for the Reggio Emilia approach. Lorius Mallaguzzi and Dr. Montessori shared very similar foundations when it came to the best educational practices for children. I was deeply inspired by this and made it my mission to learn more about it. These philosophies designate with my personal views of the children and how to best prepare them for their future successes.
I am currently enrolled in Seton’s Montessori Training courses, and recently finished a Master’s in Art Therapy program through Edgewood College. I am a firm believer in being a lifelong learner!
