Middle School Director (7th & 8th grades)

Anna Goldsmith

Anna Goldsmith serves as the Director in the Middle School environment. She earned a Bachelors in English with Teacher Licensure at Liberty University in Virginia. After graduating, she completed student teaching in Hawai’i and then returned to her hometown of Charlottesville, Virginia, where she worked at a tutoring company for two years. Anna then transitioned into teaching full time at a small private school for students with mild learning disabilities, where she worked until May 2017 when she had the opportunity to move to South Africa to do volunteer work. She lived in South Africa from June 2017-August 2019 and worked mainly with preschool teachers in rural communities. This experience was undoubtedly the best experience of her life so far. After returning to the States, Anna worked as a long-term sub at Mountaintop Montessori School in Charlottesville and taught Language Arts part-time at a local middle school. She moved to Chicago in June 2020 and was put in touch with Charles at Brickton through her friends at Mountaintop. She is so excited to be in Chicago and part of the Brickton community! She joined the Brickton staff in late 2020.
