Admissions

Thank you for considering Brickton Montessori School! Please reach out to our Admissions Office at to schedule a connection via email, phone or video.

Finding the right fit for your child and your family is an important decision. We are here to help you make the most informed decision possible and to share why Brickton Montessori School has been the best choice for families for over 38 years! We would love to answer any questions you have and share our experiences counseling many families through this decision-making process.

At this time, in-person visits are being thoughtfully scheduled to allow for an informative experience while managing minimum disruption to the current students. Some of Brickton Montessori’s programs for the current school year have openings; some are currently full, and some are experiencing a waitlist. Enrollment for most programs is ongoing, and applications are being accepted and processed in the order received. After submitting an application and a class opening is available, the Admissions office will work with your family to coordinate enrollment options.

In addition to gaining an overview of the school itself, you can expect a great collective discussion around matters at the heart of a Montessori decision. We look forward to connecting!

Brickton Montessori School believes in encouraging families to make a long-term commitment to a Montessori education. Currently enrolled families are annually invited to experience a Montessori Journey (traditionally called a Silent Journey) on a weekend morning. Parents can experience the continuous thread of Montessori from the Nido (Infant) up through the Middle School programs for 7th and 8th grades.

The following priorities are observed when determining admission and class placement:

  • Availability of space in a program and current enrollment
  • Balance of age and gender in each classroom
  • Siblings of currently enrolled students whose families have demonstrated a commitment to the long-term Montessori program through 8th grade.
  • Alignment of the school’s and the family’s educational goals and philosophies
  • Transfer students from other Montessori schools
