Timing

Toddler and Children's House (2-6)

Applications for Toddler and Children’s House are accepted year-round and students are placed on a space-available basis throughout the year.  Classroom visits for prospective students are arranged by appointment from 9:00-9:45 a.m. on a regular school day.

Lower/Upper Elementary and Middle School (ages 6-14)

Elementary applications are accepted beginning mid-November for the following school year. Mid-year transfers are not recommended unless you are moving from out of the area.  Elementary student classroom visits are arranged by appointment from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on a regular school day, if possible. Students spend the day in a classroom without a parent, and should bring a nut-free lunch.  Parents of elementary applicants may be asked to meet with the Principal and/or Program Coordinator while their student is in the classroom.

Decisions

Admission decisions are based on available space and whether the School and the family agree that Brickton is an appropriate and beneficial placement for the student.

Hands On

Hands.On.

When you can touch it, even the biggest idea becomes manageable.  The Montessori classroom abounds with materials designed to stimulate all the senses.  With multiple ways of connecting to a single idea, every child can find a path to successful learning.
